Jimmy Jean-Louis was born in Petion-Ville, Haiti.
1980
Jimmy moved to Paris where he left shcool with a degree in
Business. With no where to sleep, his love of performing kept
him off the streets and at the "Academie Internatinal de
Dance" during the day and in the night clubs of Paris at night.
1992
He moved to Barcelona, Spain where he spent two years
performing in a musical theatre "La Belle Epoque".
1994
In Milan he launched a successful modeling career working
with the likes of Valentino and Gianfranco Ferre.
When he appeared on a South African talk show in
Jahannesburg, he began to raliaze the scope of the
opportunities opening up to him." I was really blessed to
meet Nelson Mandela. We spoke, danced ands shook
hands."
1998
To further nurture his talents Jimmy moved to Los
Angeles
and cut his teeth with underground, independent
movies.
2001
He nabbed a role in Jean-Claude Van Damme's
"Derailed" shot in Sofia, Bulgaria. Jimmy Jean-Louis
performed African drum (Djembe) with recording
artist Seal on Outlaws (Tupac's group) Album
released in 2002, the song title is"History".
2002
He spent four months in the jungles of Oahu in
Hawaii in the company of Bruce Willis and Monica
Bellucci shooting the movei "Tears of the Sun"
directed by Antoine Fuqua. Later that same year
Jimmy appeared in Ron Shelton's "Hollywood
Homicide" with Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett.
